This famous Indian black tea, often referred to as the Champagne of teas has a very distinctive taste and aroma. Our new 2nd Flush Darjeeling is a currently a high quality Glenburn, usually blended with Chamong or Jayshree estates Darjeelings. It has excellent fragrant muscatel notes, is fruitier in style as well as having good length. Darjeeing is a lighter tea and more floral than other Indian teas such as Assam.
The refreshing amber infusion more resembles a green or oolong tea rather than a typical black tea. It is an excellent choice as an afternoon tea, best enjoyed without milk, but you can add a dash.

Number of Servings: 1 teaspoon (2g) per cup (150ml). 100g makes approx. 50 cups.
Water Temperature: 100 °C
Infusion Time: 2-4 mins
Store tea pouch in a cool, dry and dark place.
