This famous Indian black tea, often referred to as the Champagne of teas has a very distinctive taste and aroma with good muscatel notes. Our Single Estate 2nd Flush Darjeeling from the Teesta Valley (Gielle Estate) has good body but is much lighter and more floral than other Indian teas such as Assam.

The refreshing amber infusion more resembles a green or oolong tea rather than a typical black tea. It is an excellent choice as an afternoon tea, best enjoyed without milk.

Preparation & Storage

Number of Servings: 1 teaspoon (2g) per cup (150ml). 100g makes approx. 50 cups.
Water Temperature: 100 °C
Infusion Time: 2-4 mins
