EARTHY & REVIVING
Black tea with unusual earthy maltiness with great length of flavour, medium-body and an intense fresh aroma.
A high-grown smallholder-produced tea from Kirinyaga county on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya. The tea is processed at Kangaita factory, one of Kenya's most eminent speciality tea factories and has been subject to rigorous quality control throughout. Delicious with milk but also works without as a slightly shorter brew. This tea is our favourite alternative to English Breakfast, a very different taste and also pleasantly reviving. Dare we say an underrated African tea that’s great to enjoy on its own and not only as part of a blend, it deserves the attention of anyone who loves black teas from around the world.
