This large dark twisted leaf hillside grown green tea makes a refreshing drink with a sparkling amber infusion. It is the orginal Burmese Green Tea we were previously offering with a distinctive peaty flavour, great on it's own or served with South East Asian hot and spicy foods.
It has been sourced from Myanmar (formerly Burma) by our friends with a strong personal connection to Myanmar who founded a small charity called Helping The Burmese Delta. They travel to Burma to help to improve the lives of people in some of the poorest and most remote villages in the Irrawaddy delta region.
The tea is suitable for people who like to try new and unusual green teas. Only a few leaves are needed to make a cup, which will transport you to this amazing country.

Preparation & Storage
Number of Servings: 1 heaped teaspoon (1.5g) per cup (150ml). 100g makes approx. 66 cups.
Water Temperature: 80-85 °C
Infusion Time: 2-3 mins & stir before serving.
Store tea pouch in a cool, dry and dark place.
For the best taste, use within one year from the date of purchase.
