FLORAL & UPLIFTING
This famous Indian black tea, often referred to as the Champagne of teas has a very distinctive taste and aroma. Our new 2nd Flush Darjeeling is a high quality blend of teas from the Chamong Estate (mostly Chamong) and the Teesta Valley/Gielle Est. This one is similar to the Darjeeling we were offering a couple of years ago. It has excellent fragrant muscatel notes as well as good body. Darjeeing is a lighter tea and more floral than other Indian teas such as Assam.
The refreshing amber infusion more resembles a green or oolong tea rather than a typical black tea. It is an excellent choice as an afternoon tea, best enjoyed without milk, but you can add a dash.
